SUBJ: “KNIGHT –IN-A-DAY” CEREMONY ON JANUARY 26TH, 2013
My dear Brother Knight, I am contacting you to announce that our Council is sponsoring a “Knight-in-a-Day” ceremony on January 26th, 2013 a Saint Peter’s Catholic Church Centennial Hall in Lindsay, TX and ask for your support.
The ceremony gives candidates interested in becoming a Knights of Columbus an opportunity to obtain their 1st, 2nd and 3rd Degrees of the Order in one day and for Brother Knights who have obtained their 1st Degree to continue their path to full Knighthood by completing their major Degrees.
1. Mass will be start at 8 am at Saint Peter’s Catholic Church.
2. Check in for the first degree will begin about 8:45 AM and the degree will start at 9 AM.
3. Check in for the 2nd and 3rd degree will begin about 10:00 am and the degree program will start at about 10:30 AM.
4. After the Knighting ceremony there will be a lunch. Council 11905 will accept donations for the lunch.
5. Also please note the Council 11905 will have some extra medallions. All councils should bring enough for their candidates. Medallions can be ordered by your FS from Supreme.
6. Saint Peter’s Catholic Church Centennial Hall address and map will follow in few days
If you know of any qualified candidates for membership, please encourage them to take advantage of this unique opportunity to get their Degrees at our Council. If you need to obtain your major Degrees, please take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to do so at your home Council.
