**Prayer Intention**

Please pray that my son and his wife will encounter Christ in a deeper and more personal way, allowing the Holy Spirit to open their hearts to His love and guidance. May they be inspired to bring their children into the family of God through the Sacrament of Baptism, so that my grandchildren may grow in faith, receive God's abundant grace, and come to know the love of Christ throughout their lives.

May the Holy Spirit continue to work gently and powerfully within our family, leading us ever closer to Jesus.

Please pray for the repose of the soul of my Uncle Jimmy Pentecost who passed away at about 1:30 AM EDT today. He suffered for 12 days before be passed.

He was Presbyterian, yet since I was a boy, he always managed to work God or Jesus Christ into our conversations. He was an inspiration for me.

May he rest in eternal peace in the Kingdom of Heaven.

She suffered a fall last month breaking her hip/ Femur..She 67 and already suffers from diabetes and Lipedema in her legs. She was finally released from the hospital to a nursing home for rehab after spending almost 2 and half weeks in the hospital. I need prayers for her to get well soon and be able to come home and not be dependent on walkers and canes if possible, and most of all be able to walk up our steps to the bedroom and sleep in her own bed not a hospital bed in the living room. Also I need the strength to he her through this, for I to have A-Fib and currently going for tests to find out why I keep loosing weight. My family doctor is running tests to check for cancer I pray its not.

On June 19, our 43-year old daughter, Suzanne Seraine, told us that she had been having severe migraine headaches, couldn't sleep, couldn't remember how to do routine work tasks on her computer at home, lost her peripheral vision in the left eye, and was unable to remember how to get home in her car. Her doctor scheduled an MRI of her head on June 22. The MRI disclosed a tumor on the right side of the brain which was the size of her fist. A 10-hour surgery was performed at UT Southwest Medical Center in Dallas on July 6. The doctor removed part of her skull for the surgery (replaced with two metal plates) and removed 90% of the non-encapsulated tumor and some parts of her brain which were entangled with tentacles from the tumor. The remaining 10% will be addressed with chemo or radiation teatment. Still waiting on lab reports. She was discharged from the hospital on Sunday, July 12, and was transported via ambulance to an in-patient physical therapy facility in Frisco. Her speech is good and her doctor is impressed with recovery so far but she needs assistance on a walker. Prayers are needed for her complete recovery.
