Our friend and active Knight in our Council and Assembly 2033, Bob McCarthy has suffered a mild stroke on July 3rd. He was released from hospital Saturday and is recovering at home. More tests to follow.

Lord, we pray that You guide the doctors and medical team as they continue to test Bob as a result of this last stroke and prepare a treatment plan for him and that You shower him and his family with peace as they await the next steps.

My grandfather, Rene, suffered a fall yesterday and broke his C1 and C2 vertebrae. The C2 is pressing into the spinal cord. He will undergo surgery this morning at 10:30 am to remove the broken vertebrae and fuse the C1 and C2. Prayers for a successful surgery and recovery.
