St. Joseph Council 8954 will be hosting a First Degree Ceremony on Thursday, October 25th in the Upper Room starting at 7:30 p.m. The Upper Room is located off the Jupiter Rd. entrance; you can take the stairs or the elevator to the room.
Candidates and their Council representative must arrive at least by 6:45 p.m. to start the registration process. The representative must present a complete First Degree Kit before a candidates will be allowed to register. The Kit consist of the following: KofC Rosary, KofC Pin, pamphlet "These Men they Call Knights", 2012 Membership Card with the candidates name and signed by the GK and FS, and a completed Form 100.
The Form 100 will be returned to the candidate's council representative at the end of the ceremony. The host council will confirm key sections have been completed such as date elected and candidate and sponsor names are entered. It will be the responsibility of the new Knight's council to ensure completeness of the Form 100 and to forward same to Supreme, State and Insurance Agency in a timely manner.
Please provide the host council representative as early as possible the number of candidates and council members that will be attending for planning purposes.
Attendance by council brothers will show to soon to be new Knight that his brothers support him as he starts on the road to full Knighthood.
