St. Joseph Richardson Council 8954 will be hosting a First Degree Ceremony on Thursday, September 27th in the Upper Room starting at 7:30 p.m. The Upper Room is located off the Jupiter Road entrance; you can take the stairs or the elevator to the room.
Candidates and their Council representative must arrive at least by 6:45 p.m. to start the registration process. The representative must present a complete First Degree Kit before a candidate will be allowed to register. The Kit consist of the following: KofC Rosary, KofC Pin, pamphlet "These Men they Call Knights", 2012 Membership Card with candidates name and signed by GK and FS, and a completed Form 100.
The Form 100 will be returned to the new knight's council representative at the end of the ceremony. The host council will confirm key sections have been completed such as the date elected by the council and candidate's and sponsor's names are entered. It will be the responsibility of the new Knight's council to ensure completeness of the form and to forward same to Supreme, State and Insurance Agency in a timely manner.
Please provide the host council representative as early as possible the numbers of candidates and council members that will be attending that night.
Attendance by council brothers will show the new Knight that he has the support of his brothers as he starts his road to full Knighthood.
