St. Joseph Council 8954 will be hosting a First Degree on Thursday, July 26th in the Upper Room starting at 7:30 pm. The Upper Room is located of the Jupiter Rd. entrance; you can take the stairs or the elevator to the room.
Candidates and their Council representative must arrive no later than 6:45 pm to start the registration process. The representative must present a complete First Degree Kit before a candidate will be allowed to register. The Kit consist of the following: KofC Rosary, KofC Pin, completed and signed Form 100, pamphlet "This Men they Call Knights" and 2012 Membership Card.
The Form 100 will be returned to the candidate's council representative at the end of the ceremony. It will be responsibility of the council to ensure completeness of the Form 100 and to forward to Supreme and State immediately after the First Degree. The host District Deputy will submit Form 450 to Supreme and the State listing the councils having gain new Knights at the ceremony. Supreme, the State and the Diocesan Deputy will be anticipating seeing these Knights listed on council rosters within a short time. To avoid delays in submitting the Form 100, it is imperative to having completed all paper work and collected all dues and initiation fees before bringing candidates to the First Degree.
Please contact as early as possible the host council representative and provide the number of candidates and members that will be attending the ceremony for planning purposes.
