Host Council: Dallas Council 799 Council #799
Brothers,
As you know, Council 799 will host a Major Degree this Sunday, November 23rd. Major Degree is a combined 2nd and 3rd degree. All 1st degree Knights are encouraged to attend so that they can become elligible for all 3rd degree opportunities. Current 3rd and 4th degree Knights are also invited to participate, and show support for your fellow Knights.
There is no charge for this degree. However you will need your ID and a current membership card (showing dues current).
Details
The Major Degree will start at 8am with Mass at St. Patrick's Catholic Church (9643 Ferndale Rd, Dallas, TX 75238). Candidates should arrive 15-20 minutes early, so that you can get a ribbon showing your intent to advance in the degree. You should dress appropriately for mass. All candidates will line up in the foyer of the Church, and will process in with the Color Corps.
After Mass all candidates will reconvene at our KC Hall (10110 Shoreview Road, Dallas, TX 75238), just a few blocks away. In encourage you to park in the lower parking lot and enter through the blue canopy door.
Breakfast will be provided in the Lounge (upstairs). The degree will begin as soon as possible after candidates have been registered, perhaps around 9:30am. After the 3rd degree is complete, we will adjourn with lunch upstairs.
