Council 8954 will be holding a First Degree Ceremony on Monday, May 16th at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Richardson starting at 7:30 pm. The church is located at 600 S. Jupiter Road. The ceremony will be held in the Upper Room located on the 2nd floor off the covered entrance on Jupiter Road; you can take the elevator or stairs to the room. The candidates will proceed to Room 125 to register; the room is also located on the first floor as you enter the covered entrance.
All candidates and members must arrive by 6:45 pm for registration and ceremony instructions. The Council Financial Secretary or his representative must accompany the candidate(s) and present a complete First Degree Kit before a candidate is allowed to register. The Kit includes a KofC Pin, a KofC Rosary, pamphlet "These Mem They Call Knights", a membership (travel) card and a Form 100. The membership card must have the candidate's name, council number, and be signed by the GK and FS. The Form 100 will returnedto the FS or his representative prior to the start of the ceremony. It is not the responsibility of the host council to insure the form's completeness and processing with Supreme and the Insurance Agency.
