St. Joseph Council 8954 will be hosting a First Degree Ceremony on Thursday, Sep. 26th in the Upper Room at 7:30 pm. The Upper Room is located in the east hallway of the Jupiter Rd. entrance.
Candidates and their council representative are asked to arrive at least by 6:45 pm to start the registration process. The representative must present a complete First Degree Kit before a candidate will be allowed to register. The Kit consi9st of the following: a KofC Rosary, a KofC Pin, KofC pamphlet "These Men they Call Knights", 2013 membership card with candidates name, and a completed Form 100 for each candidate.
The Form 100 will be returned to the council representative at the end of ceremony. The Host council is only responsible that key sections have been completed, such as: date elected, type of candidate, candidate/sponsor names. The Host council is not responsible for insuring dues have been paid. It will be the responsibility of the new Knight's council to ensure the completeness of the form and forwarding to Supreme. State and insurance agency in a timely manner.
Please provide the host council representative as early as possible with the number of candidates that will be attending the ceremony.
Attendance by council members will show the new Knight that his brother Knights will be there to support him as he starts the road to full Knighthood.
