St. Joseph Council 8954 will be hosting a First Degree Ceremony on Thursday, March 27, 2013 in the Upper Room at 7:30 pm. The Upper Room is located in East Hallway of the Jupiter Rd. entrance.
Candidates and their council representative must arrive at least by 6:45 pm to start the registration process. The representative must present a complete First Degree Kit before the candidate is allowed to register. The Kit consist of the following: KofC Rosary, KofC Pin, pamphlet "These Men they Call Knights", 2013 Membership Card with the candidate's name and the GK & FS signatures and a completed Form 100 each candidate.
The Form 100 will be returned to the council representative at the end of the ceremony. The Host council is only responsible that key sections have been completed such as date elected and the candidate/sponsor name have been entered. The Host council will not be responsible for insuring that dues have been paid. It will be the responsibility of the new Knight's council to ensure the completeness of the form and to forward same to Supreme, State and the Insurance Agency in a timely manner.
Please provide the host council representative as early as possible with the number of candidates and council members that will be attending the ceremony.
Attendance by council members will show the new Knight that his brother Knights will be there to support him as he starts the road to full Knighthood.
