St. Joseph Council 89854 will be hosting a First Degree Ceremony on Thursday, Feb. 28th in the Upper Room at 7:30 pm. The Upper Room is located of the Jupiter Rd. entrance.
Candidates and their council representative must meet in Room 152 (East Hall Way of Belltower parking area) and must arrive at least by 6:45 pm to start the registration process. The representative must present a complete First Degree Kit before a the candidate will be allowed to register. The Kit consist of the following: KofC Rosary, KofC Pin, pamhlet "These Men they Call Knights", 2013 Membership Card with the candidate's name and the GK signature and completed Form 100.
The Form 100 will be returned at the end of the ceremony. The Host Council will confirm key sections have been completed such as the Date elected, read and candidate/sponsor names are entered. It will be the responsibility of the new knight's council to ensure the completeness of the Form 100 and to forward same to Supreme, State and the Insurance Field Agent in a timely manner.
Please provide the host council GK as early as possible with the number of candidates and council members that will be attending for planning purposes.
Attendance by council members will show the new Knight that his brother Knights support him as he starts the road to full Knighthood.
