St. Joseph Council 8954 will be hosting a First Degree Ceremony on Thursday, January 24th in the Upper Room at 7:30 p.m. The Upper Room is located of the Jupiter Rd. entrance.
Candidates and their council representative must arrive at least by 6:45 p.m. to start the registration process. The representative must present a complete First Degree Kit before the candidate will be allowed to register. The Kit consist of the following: KofC Rosary, KofC Pin, pamphlet "These Men they Call Knights", 2012 Membership Card with the candidate's name and the GK and FS, completed Form 100.
The Form 100 will be returned to the council representative at the end of the ceremony. The Host Council will confirm key sections have been completed such as date elected and candidate/sponsor name are entered. It will be the responsibility of the new Knight's council to ensure the completeness of the Form 100 and to forward same to Supreme, State and the Insurance Agency in a timely manner.
Please provide the host council representative as early as possible with the number of candidates and council members that will be attending for planning purposes.
Attendance by council members will show the new Knight that his brother Knights support him as he starts the road to full Knighthood.
