VA Donation Drive

4th of July Weekend

As part of this drive, Assembly #2808 is collecting Gift Cards, Funds, and BRAND NEW items to be distributed to Rhode Island Veterans at the VA.

For any Gift Cards Donations, we are asking that you please drop them off at the Parish Center or enclose in an envelope marked as KofC Rebello Assembly Att: VA Drive and place them in the collection basket during the Weekend Masses. Also, boxes will be provided at the exits of St. Mark Church beginning Saturday, June 24th, through Sunday, July 11th, for any toiletries you may wish to donate.

Requested Gift Cards donations for the following retailers:

Walmart, Target, or Home Depot

The Chief of Volunteer Services of Providence VA Hospital reports that these Gift Cards are most needed as it allows for vital needs to be met specific to each veteran, especially as the VA begins to assist more and more frequently women as well as men who have given so much in service to our great nation. It has been observed that the Veterans demographic has begun to change; they more frequently have to provide a more varied list of needs among the veteran community.

We will also be accepting any donations of toiletries:

Tissue Paper, Toothbrushes, Soap, Shampoo,
Deodorant, Body Wash, and Razors.
