Veterans Administration Stand Down Event

This was the 17th Annual VA Stand Down event, held at UNO's Milo Bail Center, to honor and support veterans in need. Specifically, those who may be homeless or living in temporary housing.

Ten members of Council 10160 and Assembly 3860 were on hand to man our table and to act as guides for the veterans attending the event.

As a guide, each volunteer was paired up with a veteran to make sure that they got to the medical, dental and support services areas, as well as to act as a "Sherpa" to help carry the donated supplies that the vets gathered.
