MEMORANDUM
GENTLEMEN, SIR KNIGHTS, WORTHY BROTHERS,
WE HAVE A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY TO COME OUT AND SUPPORT A BISHOP WHO HAS ALWAYS SUPPORTED OUR ORDER
IN EVERYTHING POSSIBLE.
I ask that we make a major effort to get our membership to come out and show the Bishop how much we
appreciate his efforts and return the support that He has offered to us since day one.
Upon Bishop Burnette’s arrival he has reached out to Our Order and impressed upon us how much he appreciates
and wants to help his fellow Brother Knights. He has attended and supported a number of 4th Degree events and
is a great supporter of our works.
What a great opportunity it is for a Catholic gentleman to receive the honor of becoming a Knight of Columbus at
an Admission Degree along with a Bishop.
A little about our Honoree: The Most Reverend Kurt Burnette, JCL Byzantine Bishop of Passaic, for his
outstanding support of the Knights of Columbus. Please be reminded that he officiated over Past State Deputy
Bruce De Molli’s first installation Mass at St. Philip.

TURNOUT OF CANDIDATES, SO AS TO PROPERLY HONOR HIM. PLEASE MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO BRING CANDIDATES TO
THIS DEGREE AND PLAN TO ATTEND THE DEGREE YOURSELF.
BISHOP BURNETTE IS VERY APPROACHABLE AND A GREAT FRIEND TO OUR ORDER. LET'S SHOW HIM HOW MUCH WE
