SPECIAL OLYMPICS NEVADA

Fallon Council 4828 collected the second highest amount in the entire state and the highest amount in Northern Nevada for this year’s annual Tootsie Roll Drive. As such, the State Council offered us the honor of presenting the checks from the State Council and Supreme Council, totaling $5,025, to the Northern Nevada Special Olympics. As such, we were invited to their annual “Polar Plunge” fundraiser event at Lake Tahoe on Saturday. Brothers Bill Hillery, Marlon Clark, and Greg Goddard attended the event and made the presentation on behalf of the Knights of Columbus. The Special Olympics also acknowledged the Knights of Columbus as one of their “Silver Sponsors.” Br. Marlon Clark forwarded the attached photos from the event.
