Knights of Columbus RI State Raffle
The 2023-2024 Knights of Columbus RI State Raffle tickets are in. Drawing date is Saturday, April 27, 2024, during the K of C RI State Convention.
Councils that would like to participate in the RI State Raffle, please contact Michael Guerra at mikegonemad@gmail.com or 401-374-1487. Please provide your Council # and how many tickets you would like. No number is too small. Delivery of the tickets can be scheduled with Michael Guerra or tickets can be picked up at the RI State Meetings.
If your Council has not participated in the past, it is not too late to be part of the RI State Raffle.
How does it work?
A raffle book (6 tickets per book) cost the Council $1, which is payable to the K of C RI State Council. The Council in turn sells the books for $5.00 each book or individual tickets for $1.00. This gives the Council a $4 or $5 profit return per book. The money that the Council earns stays at the Council level for the Council's charities. You are reading this right. A $1.00 per book investment will make you $4 profit.
Example:
Council orders 100 books which cost the Council $100. The Council sells 100 books making $500. This is a profit of $400 for the Council, which can be given to any Charity of the Council's choosing.
