MESSAGE FROM STATE DEPUTY

Worthy Grand Knights and Financial Secretaries:

I apologize for being less visible of late but I had my knee replacement surgery moved up on me unexpectedly. So here are a couple of last minute tidbits.

SP-7s
Remember, SP-7s (Report of Programs) are due 6/30. Even if you don't intend to apply for Star Council, I would HIGHLY recommend you file your SP-7 anyway so that Supreme can have an idea of what programs are being done which only helps us all in the long run. Also, and this was news to me,  “online” SP-7 forms can only be submitted one time, all resubmissions should be scanned and sent to FraternalMission@kofc.org for review.

Membership Processing
Don't mail or email Form 100s at this point if you want membership changes to get processed in this fraternal year. Please use all electronic filing tools at your disposal. Snail-mailed or emailed forms at this point won't get processed until after the start of the next fraternal year on July 1.

State Organizational Meeting
For a variety of reasons, we will NOT be bringing in Grand Knights to the State Organizational Meeting in July this year. Instead, we will do a virtual workshop for Grand Knights toward the end of July. Please be on the lookout for details.

Disaster Response
On behalf of State Disaster Response Chair Dcn Paul Louderback, I would like thank all of you who helped out in any way with our response to the tornadoes that befell this state in April & May. We distributed over $45,000 to affected residents who were in dire need of anything they could get. This is what it's all about, Brothers. The way so many of you jumped into action made me proud to be part of the same organization as you. God bless you!

Well, I appreciate everyone's help throughout this past year and I look forward to doing it all again in 2024-2025.

Vivat Jesus!
-Chris
