Supreme Knight Defends Christopher Columbus Against Scapegoating
During his remarks at the 138th Convention, Supreme Knight Carl Anderson addressed the “vicious vandalism” and “one-sided narrative” against the Order’s namesake, Christopher Columbus, as a “disservice to the truth.” Encourage every member to learn more about Columbus and the false attacks on his legacyhere.
Knights Report Robust Giving in 2019
During his remarks at the 138th Convention, Supreme Knight Carl Anderson announced Knights donated more than $187 million and volunteered more than 77 million hours in 2019. Supreme Knight Anderson added that an independent analysis put the value of the volunteer hours at more than $1.9 billion.

Evangelization and Faith Formation
Reporting on All Council Programs 
All Faith in Action programs may be adapted to meet the unique needs and demands of their council, parish and community. Use the Fraternal Program Report Form (#10784) to report on any and all council activity within one of the four Faith in Action categories.
Use Into the Breach as a Cornerstone
Every Faith in Action program is an opportunity to put your faith into action and step into the breach. Visit the Overview and Highlights page for more information on Into the Breachand the Highlighted Programs of the week.
Knights work with local schools to provide young people the opportunity to write and reflect on a spiritual topic. The purpose of this program is to teach today’s young people to be more connected to their community and faith. For more this year’s topic and more info, visit

District Deputy Corner
  • Contact your Regional Training Director for upcoming district and council training opportunities in your area.
  • Please instruct your councils on the process for submitting council forms and member transactions using Officers Online and Member Management. This method ensures council and member status on all Knights of Columbus reports will be updated in a timely manner.
Grand Knight Corner
  • Schedule meetings with your pastor, District Deputy and field agent to discuss the new fraternal year.
  • Review your council roster to identify members you believe would be receptive to a personal invitation to get more involved with council activities. Then contact these members and ask them to assist or lead a Leave No Neighbor Behind program.
Financial Secretary Corner
  • Take time to familiarize yourself with the Member Management portal on Officers Online. It was designed to make your job easier. You can submit council forms and process member transactions quickly and efficiently. No postage. No emails.
