We are pleased to invite you to attend the ceremony of admission and advancement. This Knights of Columbus ceremony advances new and existing members through the lessons of Charity, Unity and Fraternity required of a Third Degree member.

This ceremony, known as an exemplification, is new and, unlike in the past, advancement through all three degrees, first, second and third are accomplished at the same time.

The new exemplification focuses on the history and principles of our Order. It presents a fuller and richer understanding of who we are, what we stand for and what we are called to be. It hearkens back to the simple ceremonies of Unity and Charity first approved by Father McGivney.

The exemplification is a required step for all new members and is strongly encouraged for existing first and second degree members so that they may advance to the third degree.

Current Third Degree members who wish to observe the Ceremonial are welcome to do so. Families and friends are also welcome.

WHO: All new members and current first and second degree members wishing to advance to the third degree. Families and observers are welcome.

WHAT: Exemplification of Charity, Unity and Fraternity

WHERE: Zahn Lobby, Kaplan Parish Hall, Saint Bede Catholic Church

WHEN: Tuesday, February 24, 2026. Candidates should arrive not later than 6:30 PM. The ceremony begins at 7:00 PM.

DRESS: Coat and Tie.

There will be a reception following the ceremony.
