A Big THANKs to Jesse for being an example of what a Knight is all about. Jesse has had different roles at our council and state level, to name a few; Grand Knight, Faith Director, District Master, Hispanic Outreach Director, District Deputy and more. We can all learn a little from Jesse, his love for sharing God’s love and Fr. McGivney teaching. Men like you is what makes our order an honor to be called a Knight. Recently with our council, Jesse has volunteered numerous hours which has led us to great success during different activities within our parish. Jesse started a Hispanic Round Table to give our Hispanic men an opportunity to learn about the Order. This year he worked hard in cleaning grounds for the Parish Picnic, installing an irrigation system, painting the cry room and more. At the State level he has been one of the primary recruiters for setting up Hispanic Round Tables in Oregon. In September, he was part of the planning team for the “Encounter Guadalupe” event at the Grotto in Portland. He also helped with building the Guadalupe shrine there. As District Master, Jesse was responsible for the growth of the Patriotic Degree in Oregon. Once again, Jesse says “YES” to the calling of a Sir Knight. Recently Jess has become Vice Supreme Master of the Patriotic Degree, which makes responsible for multiple states and not just Oregon. Weekly, Jesse and his wife Patti spend an an hour in Eucharistic adoration. Jesse is always helpful and has a great sense of humor. Thank you Jesse for your support to our church, council, state knights and more.
