Walt Rasmussen
Walt is very active in our parish and community and great examples of faith and service. Here Walt is prepping/cooking the sausage for a recent Holy Name Society AYC Pancake Breakfast where he has been a regular volunteer for years. Walt is currently an H.N.S. officer. He also leads the Men's Morning Prayer group each week around the Baptism Font or Prayer Garden.

Family of the Month for June-Duane & Betty Kieliszewski. We are happy to
recognize the Duane and Betty Kieliszewski family as our Family of the Month for
June 2024. Try to think of a Parish activity in which Duane and Betty aren’t
involved. Notably, Duane is a Fourth-Degree Honor Guard, a past Grand Knight for
Council #1170, and a member of St. Bron’s Holy Name Society. Duane and Betty
have been heavily involved helping with Alpha from the beginning and are key
volunteers with St. Bron’s annual “Holy Thunder Bike Ride/Blessing” since its
inception more than 5 years ago. Betty has helped with the Vacation Bible Camp
and with adult Bible studies and activities, in addition to being a volunteer for the
Learning is Forever (LIFE) program through the University of Wisconsin – Stevens

Shannon Crabb
Shannon is a charter member of our Council having served as the Purser and Comptroller for the Fourth Degree Assembly 1216. Shannon has served as a cook, MC, and Small Group Leader for THAT MAN IS YOU for the past 11 years and chaired the St Bron's Parish Festival Silent Auction for the past 10 years. As many of you may know, Shannon has devoted 25 years on the management team for Special Olympics State Summer games and is involved in Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Portage County as well. For fun, he is an accomplished "Blues" harmonica player. We congratulate Shannon Crabb and recognize him as Knbight of the Month for May 2024
Michael Burant
It is a honor to have our new District Deputy, Michael Burant from District #27 for Knight and Family of the Month for April.
Mike has been a member of the Knights of Columbus for 35 years. He is currently recorder for 4th degree assembly #1216. He joined the Knights in Salt Lake City. As a current member of council 12467 in Polonia, he’s served as their Past Grand Knight, Past Financial Secretary, Treasurer, Trustee and Recruiter Advocate.
Mike has two children Ryan and Brittany who live nearby. Mike belongs to Sacred Heart Parish in Polonia. He is Secretary for their Holy Name. Society. Mike serves as an usher, is the Church Picnic food stand Co-chair & on both the Beautification & Convent Advisory Staff. Mike is also an active member of TMIY (That man is you).

Don Broderick
Don is a recent blessed edition to our council, a 3rd degree knight & our Deputy Grand Knight. He was a huge help with our Coats for Kids drive, Celebrate Plover, Honor Flight benefit, Tootsie Roll Sale. He’s also active in the Wed. & Thurs. prayer groups at church. His wife Maryanne is VP of the PCCW, sings in the choir & is a past leader of the women Tue. AM bible group. Don is a member of St Bron's Finance Committee & an active volunteer with CAP Service's volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program which prepares tax returns for elderly and low-income individuals. Don is also a frequent guest lecturer at UWSP on a variety of business and accounting topics. Again, we are very happy to have Don and Maryanne as Family and Knight of the Month for March
Dana Kryzkowski
Our Knight/Family is the Dana Krzykowski family. Dana is a fixture at just about every parish event, whether it be our festivals, Alpha, and most notably Adopt-a-Highway clean-up. His son & daughter were very active in youth ministry. His wife Brenda teaches at St. Brons school and participates in a whole host of ministries at the parish. Dana served our community as a police officer until his retirement a few years back. Thank you Krzykowski family for all you do for the council, parish & community.
Terrance "Terry" L Folz
The Family of the Month for January, is in Memorial of Terry Foltz. Terry has been a 3rd Degree member for over twenty-one years and was Honor Guard for the 4th. Terry was known for being St Bron's maintenance man for many years. He was our KC Meeting chef on Tuesday nights and helped with the Nativity scene and many other events. Terry was also with the Holy Name and helped with the pancake breakfasts. Terry helped always with the art and environment committee. He was there for putting up banners and Christmas decorating. Again Terry helped the PCCW with Poncka making. Terry helped with fish fries and other youth events. Terry was our BBQ maker for BINGO. When it came to the parish festival, guess what, Terry was there. Terry was an usher for 4:00 Mass. I'm sure I missed a lot of other things Terry did. All in all Terry was a BIG ASSET to the Church and the community and will be greatly missed. Let us all stand and give Terry a big THANKYOU
Andy Franz
We want to congratulate the Andy Franz Family for being chosen for the month of December. Andy was a past Grand Knight and is always there when you need him. Andy has been a Knight for over 16 years. and has held many officers positions with the KC's. He is also on the 4th Degree Honor Guard. When it comes to helping in the church, Andy and Becky do it, such as Communion to the home bound, Alpha table hosts, Alpha meal, Eucharistic Minister, parish council, Marriage Couple,Becky has gone to Casa Hogar 5 times. Bethany, Victoria, and Sam, when they were home also were very involved in the church.Andy was a Cub Master, PacelliPanacea Volunteer, Spash concessions and also Camp Hearing Screening. Jeff has been a Knight for 38 years and is also a 4th Degree Member of Assembly 1216 and an Honor Guard. At both the Council and Assembly level, Jeff has held many of the officer positions throughout the years. He is also a member of the Holy Name Society. Far from lying down on the job, Al & his wife Kathy are fixtures at just about every KC and Parish function that takes place. He's held officer positions at the state, diocesan & councel levels. Dana & Brenda are fixtures at our parish. Dana is our ‘music man’ on our Adopt-aHighway service project, always rocking his country music while commiserating with his fellow knights & leading a crew that cleans up a section of highway 54. He also served in a variety of service positions at church &
during mass. Dana retired after serving our community as a Stevens Point Police officer.
Brenda is a long-time teacher at St. Bronislava and also serves in a variety of

Council 13880 is very excited to have the newest Knight of our council 13880 be elected for November's Family of the Month. David joined our councill on October 25th. David is married to Sandra Their children are all grown up now he said. David always wanted to be a Knight, however noone ever asked him. He is always very active with the church and community. He is an usher at St Bron's. If you are going to ALPHA you will know him as our CHEF for the meals that are served. He also serves the meal at the Spanish Mass. David also said he attends the WILD GOOSE COURSE. I didn't get a chance to ask what that was.
We at council 13880 are very happy to have him as a Brother Knight with us. He said he is very anxious to get involved with the Knights of Columbus Activities and I'm sure we are also. Again, lets welcome our newest member and Knight of the Month David Leonhard.

The Tritz family exemplify Faith in Action and the domestic church. They give in faith and action. In addition to being our council auditor, Joe has helped out at Bingo, with 40 Days for Life activities, the ultrasound initiative, music ministry including the M & M's youth choir and many other valuable activities here at the parish. In the community, Joe sat on the board of the 1st Choice Pregnancy Resource Center
His wife Wendy has helped out with confirmation classes, parish family life committee, ran the nursery and also participated in music ministry and helped out w/ the M & Ms.
Erin is a Catholic NET minister, Amanda & Alex have done CCD, and they all have helped out with Special Olympics in the past.

George Caldwell
George is a 1st degree knight who's done so many things to help his parish, community & country. In addition to helping with the monthly St. Maximillian Kolbe parish breakfast, he's also their resident jack-of-all trades including grounds upkeep & the parish's resident electrician. George has helped with bingo & volunteered with Mobility for Vets. George was a volunteer storm cleaner following the July 20 storms that ripped through our area. He taught. hunter safety for many years. He was his company's; 1st responder for 36 years & emergency responder for 30 years. George is a regular blood donor and served our country for 22 years in the Navy.

James Schelke has been a joy to have in our council since he transferred in this past year. He is one of the most positive individuals you could ever meet and he shares his joy in the Lord with all of those around him. He has been a volunteer in the kitchen at just about every bingo this year and at every other event we’ve held. James is always looking for an opportunity to help out and brighten someone’s day.

Al has been a knight for 31 years and a member of the 4th degree for 27. He’s been secretary, chancellor, a field agent for 13 years and he’s our current District Deputy. He has been married to his wife Kathy for 42 years and has 3 children. Al volunteers to help with just about every activity our council gets involved with and is just as involved with the parishes he’s been a member of over the years: greeter, TMIY, Men of the Cross, Holy Name, Mass server, and Church board member. In the community he’s been a: school board member, volunteer fireman, cub scout leader, county fair board, 4-H leader, little league coach, and more. Thanks Al!

“Tom has been with the Knights for over 28 years and is currently our Financial Secretary. He actually started being involved with the K of C’s when he was 10 yrs old. His father had him help with the Tootsie Roll, chicken dinners, mother day dinners, decorating church, he even helped BINGO. Tom served on the parish council and currently serves on the finance council. He was a chair for the capital campaign and has been a CCD teacher. Sara plays the flue for Mass and they are regular greeters. Their children have all been servers along with CCD assistants and involved with youth ministry. Tom currently serves on the boys & girls club board of directors. They are also involved in Salvation Army, sporting organizations, and the First Choice pregnancy center. Sara and Tom are both involved with Pacelli School activities ”

“Sir Jeff is a 4th degree knight who will be celebrating the 33rd anniversary of his joining the Knights of Columbus on Sept 1. Jeff is our council’s 1 year trustee and the scribe of our local 4th degree assembly. In addition to actively participating in many honor guards, Jeff has also helped with the Tootsie Roll sale and 4th of July parade. His wife Sue has taught CCD at both St. Stephen’s & St. Brons. His daughter Jenna assisted with the 9/11 restoration project which raised $10,000 towards the restoration of the memorial at the Plover village hall. Jenna also plays trumpet in the St. Brons music ministry. Congrats Jeff and many thanks to you and your family for all you do for our parish & community ”

Karcheski as Family of the Month for November. Jeff has been a Knight for 38
years and is on the 4th Degree Honor Guard. Jeff
has held many of the officer positions throughout
the years & helped in many of the events of the
Knights of Columbus. The biggest task Sue & Jeff have partaken is doing our website & Facebook / Web pages, making them the premier ones in the state. Jeff and his daughter Jenna participated in St Bron's choir for several years, until she went off to college. Sue taught CCD 8 years at 2 different parishes in the deanery. They are always there for church activities including the Arts & Entertainment committee, Greeters, & numerous events. Jeff is also a member of the Holy Name Society.
At home Sue is an active gardener where she donates flowers to local nursing homes, church, funerals, the sick, and friends. As noted above, she also helps decorate the church being on the A+E Committee.
By the way their daughter Jenna was the youngest choir member & class valedictorian at SPASH. She now attends UW-Madison studying Astro Physics, Mathematics, & Computer Engineering.

We honor Gary and Lisa Wolf as Family of the Month for August.
Gary has been a member for 30 years with the Knights having held most of the Officer positions with our 3rd Degree Council along with our 4th Degree Assembly. Sir Knight Gary held the District Deputy position before Al Haas came on board. Now SK Gary is currently the Lacrosse Diocese Program Director.
When it comes to helping out for the Knights of Columbus, Gary is always there. Gary was recently elected as the Village Board President for Plover. Lisa is also very involved with the Church serving as a Eucharist Minister and other volunteer opportunities.
By the way, the Wolf Family was selected as the Family of the Year a few years back.

Family of the Month- July: Neil & Jackie Denny and family are tremendously deserving of our KOM & FOM awards. Neil has been our state raffle coordinator for several years which results in thousands of dollars coming back to our council charity account. He’s also a long-time scoutmaster of our parish scout troop 201. Jackie has participated alongside Neil in just about every charitable endeavor available. They are truly a wonderful example of Faith in Action and the Domestic Church. Congratulations Neil & Jackie and thanks for all you do.

Family + Knight of the Month MAY 2023 Father Juan Pedro
Father Juan Pedro has been instrumental in forming and growing the faith needs of our local Hispanic Community. To date he has given over 100 Spanish Masses and spent many hours meeting with local Hispanic Business Owners. 67 First Communicants and 17 Confirmandae have been welcomed into the faith this year by Father Juan Pedro. Aside from his busy faith schedule Father also became a 4th Degree Sir Knight earlier this month. Thank you Father Juan Pedro for all that you do in our Parish and in our community.

Family of the Month for April is the Elda Varas family. She is better known as Mama Elda, for her restaurant she owns. Mama has given food & money many times to our church for many functions. She now is helping Father Juan Pedro with the Hispanic community, specifically our Hispanic 1st Communicants. We are very proud to have the Mama Elda's Family as the Family of the Month for April. By the way, you have to stop by and try their Hispanic Sweet Rolls!
Rob & Jody Glodowski
Jody is the angel through whom the Holy Spirit works to mold & shape the young minds at our parish to Christ & his church through our youth program. Rob can be found doing so many things for the parish, brothers in need & some of the widows of our brothers with his yard equipment. He also loves to show off his toy: the gigantic grill that he’s used to feed knights, volunteers & parishioners alike.

Per Joe Uchytil, State Family of the Month Director, we recognize this fantastic organization as our council’s family of the month. They do so much for the parish and assist our council’s activities in countless ways.

Erv & Alice Shudarek
We are very happy and honered to have Erv & Alice Shudarek as the Familly of the Month for December. They are to believed to be the oldest married Parishioners for St. Bron's celebrating 70 years in August. Erv has been a member since birth & served on the Parish Council. He has been a Eucharistic Minister since Vatican II. Erv currently a Minister of the word and Eucharist Minister. Erv is also a Charter Plover Village Trustee. Erv and Alice both served in the military along with their children and grandchildren. Erv retired as a LT. Col. in 1982. I'm sorry to say I didn't find out when Alice retired. I do know she was born and raised in Fifield , WI (WAY UP NORTH.)
Alice isn't Catholic, however you can see a mixed marriage works great. They both are involved with church activities. Such as Choice, Chosen Search plus helping out with many church activities.
Let us honor Erv and Alice tonight as December Family of the Month.
Rich & Christine Neumann
Rich & Christine Neumann are our November family.
They moved here over a year ago from Ohio and have been married for 37 years. Even though both have retired, they quickly became involved here. As a Holy Name Society member, Rich is the Treasurer, and you will see him helping with tickets now at the pancake breakfasts. He’s also an usher at the Saturday 4pm mass. Rich also volunteers at our church picnic and for 2nd Saturday Suppers. In the community, he teaches continuing ed classes @ Mid-State both in Stevens Point and WI Rapids. His wife Chris bakes for Alpha & is in the church choir. Thanks Rich & Christine for all you do for the parish and our community.
McHugh Family
Mike McHugh is a living example of Faith in Action.
During a recent weekend mass(es), he and his father Mick testified to the change that Alpha has made in their lives.
Mike helps out with countless ministries and tasks around the parish as well as the
Holy Name Society. He an absolute joy to have as a fellow parishioner here at St. Bronislava...and soon a fellow brother knight. Thank you,

Anna & Kibs Connell
Anna is our music ministry director at St Bronislava. In addition, she helps out at youth events, Alpha, 2nd Saturday Supper & our Spanish masses. It's amazing how she juggles the musicians and choir members while also coordinating the computer operations for our giant screens during mass. And you'll occasionally see her husband Kibs (Kyle) in the back of church supporting her ministries as well. This month we are pleased to acknowledge Anna for all she does for our parish!

The McCarty family is our family of the month for August.
Many of us know Anna as our faith formation director. Some may know her brother Fr. Sam, a priest serving our diocese. Anna and her siblings are always helping at
parish functions like 2nd Saturday Supper and the Ministry fair to name a few.
Thank you so much for your service. Note: If you have not heard, Anna is leaving us to become a teacher at Assumption High School.

The Studinski family (Earl, Julie & Marriah) are July’s family of the month. Julie has served in several capacities including Director of Religious Education, ALPHA & Spanish mass coordinator, Eucharistic Minister...and the list goes on with too many more to fit in this small space.

Paul & Cindy Weber
St Bron's Council 13880 is very proud to introduce one of our council’s newer members as the Family of the Month for June -- Paul and Cindy Weber.
Paul has been a Knight for over 13 years and is also a 4th Degree member.
Paul and Cindy are from Door County where they worked numerous KC festivals and food stands including their annual Venison Feeds. Cindy was a Eucharistic Minister and Lector. Paul served as Maintenance Director for St Joes School/Parish. Both served as Ushers and Greeters, worked picnics, fish fry's, Volunteered for Life Teen, and served on the Catholic School Consolidation committee.
In their community Paul coached football and basketball. Cindy served as a Board President of the Door County Economic Development, Door County Chamber of Commerce, and served as the Sturgeon Bay Visitor Bureau & Utility Commissioner.
Here at St Brons's, Paul has already volunteered for Hwy 54 Clean Up project and annual Tootsie Roll drive. And Cindy currently serves as our Pacelli School Administrator.
Again, we are pleased to have the Webers named as our June Family of the Month.

For the Month of May we are very honored to have the Paul Miskowic family as the Family of the Month.
As you may have seen at Aprils K of C Meeting Paul is a very busy man. When it
come to helping the Knights Paul is always there. Fall Fest., Trbz Farm, Tootsie Roll Drive, Free Throw knowledge, and he was always there for BINGO. As far as the Church functions go, He is an usher, President of Holy Name, Taste of Italy, Fall Festival, Poncka's, 2nd Saturday Supper, Fish Fry/ Fat Tuesday, Breakfast with Easter Bunny and of course he is there to set up and tear down. With the Community there is Toys for Tots (pick-up at Fleet Farm) Remodeling First Choice Reserve Center remodel Sacristy
When it comes to fixing things up, guess who is there, RIGHT, Paul. Like fixing choir loft, new cabinet for Sacristy and of course the new Welcome Desk in hallway.
Again, let us all welcome Paul and Barb as FAMILY OF THE MONTH for May.
Don & Betty Jankowski
This month we are welcoming Don and Betty Jankowski as the Family of the Month.
Don has been a Third Degree member for over 5 years and is the
Councils Outside Guard. He is one of our Hwy 54 clean-up crew. When the council needed help Don is always there. Both Don and Betty are very busy
helping out with church activities such as:
Usher since 1971, Greeters, Eucharistic Minister, help with Church Festival, and Christmas decorations, Lecturer and other events with the church. They have
been members of St Bron's since 1971. Don also serves as Member of Stevens Point Catholic Cemetery Association. Don served on the Plover Police, The Fire Commission from 1995-2005, and County Board of Supervisors since 1995.

Our Family of the Month for December is Jim and Sue Anderson. Jim has been a member of the Knights for over 20 years. He is with the 4th Degree Honor Guard. Jim is also one of our Past Grand Knights. When it comes to community and church envolment, you name it . Jim and Sue Co-Chair special Olympics Summer games. He is the Finance Chair, Trust & Endowment Committee, Parish Board of Directors. Sue and Jim are Leaders in ALPHA. Together they do Community Friends, Board Member and Volunteer driver. Community Partners and also Board member for Better Together Community Partners of Portage County. Jim and Sue also sing along with people of various disabilities
sue also assists a member in our community with physical limitations. Together they are cheerleaders for most Special Olympic
Events in our area throughtout the year.

Osenga
We are honored to have Joe and Madeline Osenga as the Family of the Month for May. Joe has been a Knights of Columbus member for over 15 years. When it come to helping Council 13880, Joe is right there. When our Grand Knight Joe, contacted members for Adopt a Highway, Joe was one of the first to let him know he would help. Joe is also there to help out with BINGO,Tootsie Roll drive, and the Steak Feed.
Joe was involved in Eucharist Minister, and helps out with the Church Festival
Joe is knowed for being a helping neighbor. He does snow and lawn mowering for neighbors. He helped out with a retired farmer maintain his farm as long as he can live there. Joe and his wife Madeline Volunteer at Red Cross blood drive in Plover. Joe should make 16 gal. with the next donation the end of April. Joe helps out with the elections in Plover.
For the past 6 years Joe has been volunteering over at the Experimental Arcraft Assoc. facilities to help prepare for their annual convention usually 5 to 7 days. During early COVID he did shopping for an elderly friend.
About ten years ago Joe went as a guardian with his father-in-law on the 2nd honor flight. He also went out and greeted other returning flights. In his spare time he volunteers at the Stevens Point Airshow.

Bert & Mary Trzebiatowski
e are honored to have Bert & Mary Trzebiatowski as the Family of the Month for March. Bert has been a Knights of Columbus member for over 15years. He is on the Honor Guard snd Council Warden for 5 years. . As far as events for the Knights you name it. Worker at BINGO (also Mary) Does Lifesavors for Life, Tootsie Rolls, State Raffle tickets. Bert and Mary both do Special Olympics and of course the Steak Feed.
Bert & Mary are both Eucharstic Ministers. Bert is a Covid usher. they also help out at the church festival. Mary has taught 19yrs for CCD, 1st communion, recconcilation and confirmation.
Both have been involved with FFA Alumi since 1976 as voluntary officers and fund raisers for Walk for life. Bert is a town Supervisor for the past 18 years Mary is a poll worker for 10 years. Of course they help with the Harvest Fest at the farm. They both work full time and help taking care of aging parents and making meals.

Joe is a 4th degree knight who will be celebrating his 4th year as a knight in October. He became council 13880's grand knight last month. Joe's worked the floor & kitchen for bingo, Special Olympics, Youth punt, pass & kick, Walk for Life, Lifesavers for Life and the Tootsie Roll Drive. At the parish, he lectors, ushers and has taught youth faith formation for 10 years. He is also a Boy Scout merit badge counselor. He & his wife Jean and son Joseph are volunteer transporters of wounded birds for the Raptor Education Group in Antigo. His wife Jean is a teacher, serving as an instructor for the Stevens Point schools at the Boston School Forest. She is is also a volunteer archery instructor for the Green Bay chapter of the Isaak Walton League. Their son Jameson volunteers as a food & provisions transporter for the homeless in the Twin Cities. Their daughter Jeanna was named the 2020 Ignite Young Professional of the year by the Portage County Business Council.
Hannemann
The Hanneman family are omnipresent at the parish. They attend Sunday mass, holy days of obligation as well as annual Lenten parish missions, Alpha & more. They socialize as a family after mass & make those around them feel more than welcome.
They are incredibly active at the parish, participating in religious education, social concerns committee, running the AV booth for masses, eucharistic ministry and many other activities.
They are the epitome of the domestic church & Faith in Action.
Tritz
The Tritz family exemplify Faith in Action and the domestic church. They give in faith and action. In addition to being our council auditor, Joe has helped out at Bingo, with 40 Days for Life activities, the ultrasound initiative, music ministry including the M & M's youth choir and many other valuable activities here at the parish. In the community, Joe sat on the board of the 1st Choice Pregnancy Resource Center
His wife Wendy has helped out with confirmation classes, parish family life committee, ran the nursery and also participated in music ministry and helped out w/ the M & Ms.
Erin is a Catholic NET minister, Amanda & Alex have done CCD, and they all have helped out with Special Olympics in the past.
We are blessed to have your family at your parish and to have Joe as a brother knight. Thank you, Tritz Family!
