Peter Zigmond

Pete has been tireless in his support of the Council's Lenten Friday Fish Frys. His commitment and zeal are an example we can all learn from.

March 2019

Theo Gerlich

Theo Gerlich is the Council's current Treasurer and has held numerous other positions within the Council. As the Treasurer, he is called on to handle the Council's financial activities, which is a greater demand on his time than most of the other officer positions. His support as a volunteer at many of Council's activities is an important part of the success of those events, and sets a good example for the rest of the Council. Theo is an outstanding example of what it means to be a Knight of Columbus.

February 2019

Jeffery Lavender

Jeffery accepted the role of Community Director and has been a driving force in the Council's programs. He lead the effort to establish the Silver Rose program, the Christ in Christmas program. He has worked to coordinate with Robert Perez on support for Special Olympics activities.

January 2019

Henry Moczygemba

SK Henry is one of those Brother Knights that can always be counted on to help. He works to keep the Church grounds groomed, without asking for help or recognition. LIke so many Brother Knights, Henry has taken on a task that he saw was needed a took the initiative. This is the example our new Brother Knights should strive to emulate.

John Bilicek

John unselfishly volunteered and took the lead in replacing the lighting in the parish hall at St. Ann, La Vernia. The light fixtures were purchased and donated to the church by the council. John is an active members of St. Ann Parish in La Vernia, Tx and a member of St. Ann Council 12208

November 2018

Ed Gorzell

Ed Gorzell, Did an amazing job, organizing and also doing a lot of the work himself, for the Counsel's Annual BBQ Chicken Dinner. Ed put in countless hours to make the dinner a success. Ed was also active, helping with the Parish Festival.

August Moczygemba

August Moczygemba has worked quietly, without fanfare to organize and conduct the KC LIve Auction as part of the St. Ann Catholic Church Fall Festival. The amount of effort involved, all the donors he contacts, the orchestration on the day of the auction are a monumental effort and is a worthy example for all our Brother Knights.

Lowell Mullins

Lowell has managed the Council's quarterly blood drive for the last three years. He has done so with little outside help or Council oversight. This community service has saved many lives and he has consistently increased the donor base each year. Lowell exemplifies selfless service to the Community by his efforts.

Michael and Betty Trainer

Michael and Betty Trainer are heavily involved in the Parish Community and ministries. Michael is a past Grand Knight (two terms), is the Faith Committee Chairman, a Eucharistic Minister, and a volunteer in numerous events in the Community. His help and support during the Lenten Fish Fry Fridays is a critical part of its success. His wife, Betty, is a member of the Catholic Daughters, volunteering in the numerous activities of that organization. Our Parish and community is a richer place thanks to their presence.

Robert and Cindy Perez

Robert and Cindy have heavily involved with supporting activities in the Parish. Robert leads the Pancake Breakfast Committee, a joint social activity with the Catholic Daughters every quarter to provide a free pancake breakfast to parishioners after Sunday mass.

January 2019

William Henry and Mary Mainz

William (Billy) Mainz has been a driving force within Council 12208 for years. He works tirelessly in supporting the Church Parish and in Council Activities. He is always there offering support without being asked and is a strong leader within the Council. His wife, Mary, is very active within the Church. She sings in the Church Choir, a Member of the Catholic Daughters and provides instruction for the children of the parish. Like so many of our Council Families, Billy and Mary set an example we should all aspire to.

Donald and Helen Shaw

Don and Helen Shaw have been active in numerous council activities and gatherings since the council was chartered. They have worked together organizing family activities for the council as well as Don's continual efforts in organizing the council's annual golf tournament. Don and Helen are active members of St. Ann Parish in La Vernia, Tx and a long time member of St. Ann Council 12208

Kenneth L Dodson and Family

Kenneth and his wife Laura over the past year have been extremely active in Council events. Both Kenneth and Laura have put in countless hours, helping with the Fish Fry's, the Parish Festival Auction, and most recently the BBQ Chicken Dinner. Kenneth and Laura are also active in the Parish with their children.

Patrick, Audra, and Emily Traugott

Patrick and Audra Traugott, and their daughter Emily, as the Family of the month. My reason for this is their dedication to the church, serving in many capacities, but mostly with being involved in the Music Ministry. This is something that the whole family participates in. They are also involved in ACTS, the Adopt a Stations of the Cross, and the Parish Festival. Their work in spreading the Gospel is not just by leading others in song and being involved, it is also through their action and what they display to others on how they serve and live their lives.

Gary and Cindy Kirby

Gary and Cindy are long time parishioners of St. Ann and have been part of many of the parish events and fund raisers. They were heavily involved in the final clean up and preparation of the new St. Ann Religious Education Building, insuring that it was ready for students on the first day of scheduled classes.
