Jeremiah Saul Houidobre Family

The Houidobre family is actively involved in our parish community and the community as a whole. He is an officer and program director within our Council. He also serves the community and youth as a whole by being a soccer coach helping to develop young minds and bodies. His wife is a Eucharistic Minister. Both of his daughters are Altar Servers and his oldest daughters is also a member of the church choir. It is a pleasure to have the Houidobre family as the St Charles Borromeo Council 10570 Family of the Month for September 2018.

Edward J Torres Family

For Ed Torres and his family, volunteering has become a family affair. Ed is an Usher at the 9am Mass, and is currently the Warden of our Knights of Columbus Council and can be seen helping out with special events and projects. His daughters Cassandra and Crystal taught CCD for many years at St Charles. Ed's grandchildren Alexia and Theresa volunteered as Catechist aides after making the Confirmation, Antonio serves as a lector and usher and Alexandra is an altar server at the 9am Masses on Sundays. This family models service to our community and are a wonderful example how to respond to the call of stewardship. We recognize them for their faithful service to the st Charles Borromeo Parish.

July 2018: Hernandez Family - Alysia, Deana, Louis & Jennifer

Pictured l-r: Alysia, Deana, Louis & Jennifer. This family is actively involved in our Parish Community and the parishes within the Archdiocese. Louis has been assisting many with their faith for quite a few years with love and devotion and was recently ordained as a Deacon (June 16, 2018). Deana has been at her husbands side serving the Archdiocese for many years and is currently a teacher at St Thomas Aquinas Catholic School, she is also a lector and Eucharistic Minister, They are both ACTS Instructors. Alysia is a teacher at San Felipe de Neri Catholic School. Both Alsia & Jennifer are catechists, Eucharist Ministers and Choir members.

The Salas Family are very active in the St Charles Borromeo Parish and serve the Parish in several ways. Pictured l-r: Maria Elena (Nena): Catechist, Assists at Volunteer Table after Masses, takes the Eucharist to the homebound. Gabriela: Choir member, Co-leader/founder of the St Charles Youth Group. Joseph: Altar Server Chris: Member of the Church Finance Council, currently serves as Treasurer for the Council 10570 Knights, volunteers to count weekly church donations, takes the Eucharist to the homebound.
