The Grounds Crew Ministry has been busy in the month of September. SK Les Durette has been coordinating the workdays of the scheduled times to come out and improve the curb appeal of Assumption Seminary and St Francis of Assisi Parish.
On September 11, 2021, Brother Les and Parishioner Charlie Garza participated in the Marshall Plan Program to work on Area 8 which is assigned to our Council 15240. Our assignment is for two years, and we are required to participate once a month. Stay tuned for a published schedule and please help on participation in this very gratifying contribution to our seminarians.
On September 25, 2021, The Knights of Columbus Council 15240 had a grounds workday in preparation for the Fall season and the Parish Festival. We want to thank the Men’s Club Brother Mike Sholl and other Parishioners who participated with SK Brother Les Durette, Brother Richard Bellacosa, Brother Thomas Trevino, and SK Brother Chuck Samuel. Our next workday will be announced soon as we get our parish grounds and holiday lights ready for the Christmas Holiday Seasons.
