Brothers, Ladies and Friends
We achieved an outstanding event today at the Christopher Columbus Hall. In all, we had 24 attendees proclaiming and advancing the message to the public in support of life. It was wonderful to have the young people with us.
We were honored to have Fr. Zach with us as we made a strong public statement of faith and commitment to the goal of ending abortion in America.
In recognition of yesterday’s Day of Prayer for the Legal Protection of Unborn Children, we witnessed to the throng of people driving by on Loop 323 (aka the Raceway) by praying the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary (the Joyous Mysteries). The honking horns and the thumbs-up gestures far outnumbered the thumbs-down (and a few other hand gestures).
A shout – out to Deacon Steve Curry, who put up the sign in December that notes “A Nation that kills its own Children is a Nation without Hope”.
An excellent event today in support of life and a witness to the public of our resolve. The crosses and signs will remain in place through next week in support of the National March for Life on Friday, January 29.
Anyone wishing to spend some time at the site witnessing to the passing traffic, please do so. Invite family, friends and others to join you. Catholic and non-Catholic alike.
Now, more than ever, this is our time to stand and deliver.
