This fall in the Commonwealth of Virginia two proposed amendments on the ballot threaten the human right to life and the truth of marriage. These proposed amendments are called the “Virginia Right to Reproductive Freedom Amendment” and the “Virginia Remove Constitutional Same-Sex Marriage Ban Amendment.” They also threaten constitutional justice, the equal protection of the laws, and religious liberty.

The Diocese of Arlington is a thriving community composed of seventy parishes in the Northern Virginia area. Since its founding in 1974, the Diocese has grown significantly, becoming one of the fifty largest dioceses in the United States. Currently there are 432,700 registered Catholics and over 295 priests in the Diocese.
