KC Walleye Classic

The Bemidji Council of the Knights of Columbus is managing entity of the Knights of Columbus Walleye Classic.  The Walleye Classic is Northern Minnesota's premiere walleye fishing tournament with 100 teams competing for more than $50,000 in cash and prizes.  The best part about the tournament is that all of the proceeds from the tournament are given to area non-profit organizations like Special Olympics, Bemidji Youth Baseball, The Boy Scouts of America, Fishing Has No Boundaries, Let's Go Fishing, Take a Kid Fishing, All Pro Dads, Knights of Columbus Council #1544, and others.

St. Philip's Catholic Church

St. Philip’s Parish is located in Bemidji Minnesota. We welcome you to join us for a Sunday Mass, weekday Mass or for a few minutes of contemplation and reflection in the chapel or church.

We are called to a ministry of the Word, which includes a Catholic school education from pre-school through grade eight and a religious formation program through grade eleven. We have a strong youth ministry program for middle and high school students. We are called to witness to justice in our community and our world, and to a new evangelization, proclaiming a Gospel of Life in the Catholic tradition.

Sacred Heart Catholic Church

Sacred Heart Church Wilton is the spiritual home of approximately 65 families and welcomes all snowbirds and summer residents, as well as permanent residents.

Sacred Heart Church Wilton was incorporated in 1914 and the original church was built that same year. In the early years, mass was held only once a month, presided over by a priest from St. Philip’s parish in Bemidji.

The Knights of Columbus Council 1544 supports those who believe in the sanctity of life for the born and unborn.  Thus, our council supports the Northwoods Pregnancy Care Center.

The Northwoods Pregnancy Care Center offers:

• FREE Pregnancy Tests
• FREE Ultrasounds
• Options Counseling - we provide up to date, factual information on parenting, adoptions, & abortion
• Compassionate & non-judgmental care and ongoing pregnancy support
• Earn While You Learn Program (EWYL)- includes education during pregnancy & after delivery
• A "Mommy Store"  where you can spend the coupons you earn, while participating in the EWYL program
• Referrals to community service agencies that can provide additional support
• We do not make referrals for abortions

Diocese of Crookston

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Crookston is a Roman Catholic diocese that covers the northwest section of Minnesota. The current bishop of the diocese is Bishop Michael Hoeppner. It is a suffragan see of the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis.
