The Russell Home For Atypical Children

The Russell Home for Atypical Children in Orlando has been in continuous operation for over 60 years without any government support. The Home is the only private, non-profit facility of its kind for severely disabled children in Central Florida.

A central tenet of the Russell Home is to encourage each and every child to develop to his or her highest potential. They celebrate the efforts and accomplishments of every child here in our home, and as a result the children demonstrate pride in their own personal achievements.

The Russell Home provides around the clock specialized care, with love and a home-like atmosphere. The love that is in this home, expressed through the eyes, sounds, and smiles from the children will make you count your blessings for the simple things in life.

Wounded Warrior Project

The Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) serves veterans and service members who incurred a physical or mental injury, illness, or wound while serving in the military on or after September 11, 2001  Through a range of programs and services, WWP transforms the way America’s injured veterans are empowered, employed, and engaged in our communities.

Every warrior has a next mission. WWP knows that the transition to civilian life is a journey. and for every warrior, family member, and caregiver, that journey looks different.  WWP there for their first step, and each step that follows. Because WWP believes that every warrior should have a positive future to look forward to. There’s always another goal to achieve, another mission to discover. WWP is their partner in that mission.
