Our Lady of Consolation Church

OLC is an ethnically diverse community of faith drawing members from Merrillville, Crown Point, Schererville, and beyond. The center of parish life is our worship of God in the celebration of the Holy Mass. From our weekly gathering for the Eucharist flow our ministry within our parish as well as beyond our doors: our Faith Formation Program, Friends in Christ (formerly known as St. Vincent de Paul), the Women’s Guild and Holy Name Society, our Youth Ministry, the Good Shepherd Council of the Knights of Columbus, as well as the St. Gianna Molla Respect Life ministry.

Chartered on July 6, 1914, the Knights of Columbus Abraham Lincoln Assembly 235 is a 4th Degree Assembly that serves the Lake County, IN region.

Gibault Children's Services

Gibault was founded in 1921 by the Indiana Knights of Columbus as a home for wayward boys. Over the years, Gibault has evolved to meet the ever-changing needs of troubled kids everywhere. Today, Gibault serves boys and girls and has provided life-changing opportunities for over 10,000 children and their families. Gibault serves children with mild emotional disturbances, aggressive and oppositional behaviors, substance abuse issues, victims and perpetrators of physical and sexual abuse, learning disabled children, and children with a variety of clinical issues in residential and community based environments.
