Thank you - Pancake & Sausage Breakfast - January 18
Our January 18 pancake and sausage breakfast held in Fellowship Hall was a very big success with 232 people being served. The intake of $1,402 in cash and credit card charges, including donations, less the expenses of $523.04 yielded a profit of $878.96.

Thank you - Decorating (December 15 & 17) and Undecorating (January 13).
We thank all of you Brother Knights, who donated your time back during Advent to assist in setting up the trees and the inside Nativity sets on December 15 (always the Monday after Gaudete Sunday (the 3rd Sunday of Advent (rose colored Advent candle)). Assistance was provided by Joe Schu, Al Nessel, Joey Costello, Ted Zagrobelny, Paul Zerkow, Charles Newton and Tom Shank. On Wednesday, Brother Kevin Tamai, led the outside effort on building the Nativity, the placement of the figurines and hanging of the garland, with assistance from Tom Shank, Ted Zagrobleny and Joe Pevarnik.
The undecorating which took place on January 12 (the day after Feast of the Baptism of Jesus) with assistance from Vic Bako, Tom Stanton, Al Nessel, Tom Shank, Tom Stanton, Ted Zabrobelny, Paul Zerkow and Joe Pevarnik.
Thank you - Blood Drive - January 10
We thank all of you Brother Knights, your families, our fellow Seton Lake Ridge Parishioners, and those from area churches and in Lake Ridge area who donated blood this past Saturday, January 10th at the KofC 8183 INOVA Â Blood Donor Services Blood Drive held over at Saint Matthew's Lutheran Church. Despite the 15 no-shows and the 10 cancelations (we understand, this is flu season) and thanks to the 12 walk-ins, a quantity of 66 units of blood were collected.
The next blood drive will take place on Saturday, March 14 in upper Seton Hall, from 7:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. with 44 of the 105 time slots still available. The link to the sign-up through INOVA, is here: https://www.inovabloodsaves.
Special thanks to PGK Kevin Tamai, who organizes these Blood Drives, not only here at Seton Lake Ridge, but coordinates with the other two participating churches, Saint Matthew's and the Church of Jesus Christ of LatterDay Saints, both in Lake Ridge. In addition, we thank Brother Clyde Watts, who is there each and every time to assist in the set-ups and tear downs.

Council meetings are the first Wednesday of each month in Seton Hall at 7pm. All are welcome to attend. Officers meeting is the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 7pm. All are welcome to attend. Recruiting - we need additional brother knights. Please encourage any Catholic men you know to join our fraternal brotherhood. Sign up online is free. Please record and submit your volunteer hours.
We need you!!
Brother knights we ask for 24 hours, just two hours once a month. Help at an event, lead an event, help with membership recruiting, help in any way you can. Many hands make for lighter work for all. Each individual can contribute to the council in some way.
