St. Joseph of Eldersburg recently held the Palm Mass, featuring a solemn procession with the ICON of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. This event brought together the community in a spirit of reverence and unity, highlighting the significance of tradition and faith within our parish.

Father Andrew Westerman started the mass by blessing the palms.
The Color Corp initiated the procession to the altar, setting a dignified tone for the ceremony. Led by the District Marshall Thom Partenope and Commander David Love. Grand Knight Robert Summerville, accompanied by Knight Mark Weber, carried the ICON forward with reverence, emphasizing the significance of the event as they moved together toward the altar.
After the icon was carefully positioned on the altar, Father Andrew commenced the Palm Mass, marking the beginning of the ceremony with a sense of reverence and solemnity. It was a beautiful mass.
I want to extend my sincere gratitude to Grand Knight Robert Summerville for coordinating with the parish and enabling the Color Corp to participate in this mass. Their efforts have made it possible for us to honor this occasion with added support and ceremony.
