Knights of Columbus Eucharistic Adoration Initiative

In 2020, our Council initiated a faith program that encourages Knights, Lady Knights, and their families to participate in Eucharistic Adoration.  Often referred to as a Holy Hour, Adoration is a traditional Catholic devotion where time is spent reflecting in front of the Blessed Sacrament.  The experience provides a simple and meaningful way to delve deeper into one’s spiritual life and engage in a personal encounter with God.

This Knight's initiative joins the successful Adoration program of our parish.  Knights and their families are encouraged to participate in parish Adoration on the first Monday of each month (second Monday if no parish Adoration the first) anytime from 3:00 to 7:00 pm.  The free-form Adoration before the Blessed Sacrament can be for any length of time--10 minutes, an hour, longer or shorter as desired.  As a bonus, personal Adoration may be timed for the recitation of the Divine Mercy Chaplet at 3:00 pm or the closing prayers and hymn at 7:00 pm.

Suggested Adoration activities include personal prayer, spiritual reading, meditation, or simply savoring the presence of our Lord.  For excellent Adoration reading resources, check out the K of C Domestic Church Kiosk by the main southwest doors to the Narthex.  The display includes 15 free faith-based booklets that can help engage and energize your Eucharistic Adoration experience.

When participating in Knights Adoration, please sign in at the podium near the main sanctuary doors.  Place the letter "K" beside your name on the roster.
