The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic lay fraternal organization, founded in New Haven CT in 1882 by the Venerable Father Michael J McGivney.  The J.H. Newman College Council of Holy Spirit Parish Newman Center at the University of Kentucky is an active group of Catholic men; both student & resident parishioners. For 2014 – 2015, our Grand Knight is Student Samuel Meffert.  We strive to uphold the values on which the Knights were founded. KofC at UK is a fun and engaging opportunity to socialize and serve the Catholic Church.
