Heavenly Father,
On this Memorial Day, we pray for those who courageously laid down their lives for the cause of freedom. May the examples of their sacrifice inspire in us the selfless love of Your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ.
Bless the families of our fallen troops, and fill their homes and their lives with Your strength and peace.
In union with people of goodwill of every nation, embolden us to answer the call to work for peace and justice, and thus, seek an end to violence and conflict around the globe.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.

Rosary/Mass – Thursday, August 21. First, at 6:15 PM, at Resurrection of Our Lord Church in Laurel, our Pastor, Fr. Mark Bialek, will lead us in a living rosary, in honor of the unborn. This will be followed by a 7 PM Mass. The Laurel area is fortunate to have an ultra sound machine, so the collection will go towards its maintenance. We will also be collecting baby gifts for the Laurel Pregnancy Center. A reception will follow.
Upcoming Monthly Ice Cream Socials - August 19th, September 16th – Please join us for a relaxing evening of ice cream and games. These events are opening to all. Please come and bring friends, Families and neighbors. We start serving at 6:30PM.
Council Installation - August 30th – Immediately following the 4PM Mass.
