WHO WE ARE

We as members of the Sacred Heart Council focus on developing programs that best serve the needs of our local community. All the good works are driven by our four core principles of charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism. We are a band of brothers, more than 240 strong, doing good in the service of God, our parish, and our neighbors. If interested in joining, or finding out more information, please contact SK Kirk M Kloeppel at kkloeppel84@gmail.com

FOURTH DEGREE CORNER

There are four degrees of membership in the Knights. The first three degrees represent the values of Charity, Unity, and Fraternity.  The Fourth Degree is dedicated to the virtue of Patriotism, fostering that spirit in all members and the community at large. The Fourth Degree is the one most familiar to the public, identified by distinctive regalia and their participation in color corps and honor guards. They work tirelessly in their outreach to our nation's military - active, infirmed, or retired. The Fourth Degree is a position of prestige and something for which all Knights should strive.

Grand Knight's Message

Greetings Brother Knights,

We are looking for volunteers to help serve breakfast and lunch to the students during Vacation Bible School week, July 13-17. Each shift is approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Breakfast volunteers should arrive at 7:45 am. Lunch volunteers should arrive at 11:45 am. Be as generous and flexible with your time as you can - the intent is to schedule each volunteer to 3 meals during the week. The more options you can provide, the easier it will be to put together a schedule that works for everyone.

If you can also volunteer for meals that you aren't scheduled for, that is great and completely up to you, but we will be counting on you to show up on the days and times you are scheduled. We hope to have at least 4 volunteer servers for each meal. Extra volunteers will be needed for Friday's lunch, when parents and grandparents are invited. If you want to help cook, please indicate that.

Please indicate the dates and meals you are available: (put an X next to the meal):

Monday, July 13 Breakfast _______ Lunch _______

Tuesday, July 14 Breakfast _______ Lunch _______

Wednesday, July 15 Breakfast _______ Lunch _______

Thursday, July 16 Breakfast _______ Lunch ________

Friday, July 17 Breakfast _______ Lunch ________

Please send all replies to Dave Commyn, dcommyn@gmail.com. The link below will preformat your email to Dave.

Dave will send out a schedule to those volunteering as soon as possible, and at least 1 week before the Bible School.

Thank you for your help!

Vivat Jesus!
