We are proud to announce that so far this year 3 members of our Council
have performed 326 hours of Volunteer Service in our parish and our community.

Coats for Kids and Blankets for Saint Benedict's--donate through our council website (charity corp link) or through the parish poor box November 18-19. $250 will provide 12 new winter coats, while $200 will provide 20 fleece blankets.

FOOTBALL SQUARES to Support our Council Widow Activities

Thank you to the 33 Knights and family members raised nearly $10,000 by volunteering at Mary's Land Farm this year. Additional opportunities to help on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays November 24-December 23, 4pm-8pm. Help needed parking, fire minder, tractor driver, and Friday carol leader. Eucharistic Adoration, Every Sunday, following 11:00 mass until 8pm in the Church. Knights rotate covering 12-1, 1-2, and 4-5. POC: Ed Draminski, edbethdram@verizon.net to help.

 

Greccio setup and parking: Help is needed for char setup and parking at the Shrine of Saint Anthony Greccio, Saturday December 9, setup 3-4pm, parking 5-6pm. mjleumas@verizon.net

 

Saint Joseph’s devotion, normally 1st Wednesday, 7-8pm. St. Louis church. Eucharistic Adoration and talk. December 6.

 

Catechism in a year with Fr. Mike Schmitz (podcast). Discussion monthly 12:30-1:15pm at Saint Louis on Hospitality (First) Sundays.

 

Family Rosary after 8am mass on 3rd Saturdays--Our Lady of Fatima statue in front.

 

Men of Virtue resumes on second Saturdays at Saint Francis 8-10am with Father DeAscanis.

Coats for Kids, November. Support the state and supreme Coats for Kids effort--a box of 12 is approximately $250, and our goal is to cover 6 boxes. See link above (501c3)

 

Blankets for Saint Benedict's--parish effort to provide 200 fleece blankets (60x80) to Saint Benedict's by December 16. New and clean, like-new blankets will be accepted at the parish food collections 11/19 and 12/3--11/18-19 poor box at Saint Louis or link above. $200 will buy 20 new blankets.

Ravens Game Concessions, all home games, 3 -4 hours before kickoff until game end. The major fundraiser for the council charity fund. Help needed for December 10, December 31, January 7. Contact Herman Stewart at stewart_k4@yahoo.com

Help with our Hospitality Committee – contact Frank and Bryan as we need more help due to commitments of long-time members. Consider helping--these men cook and serve food at a number of events, from our monthly meetings to the Lenten fish fries. We can always use additional men to help–join the roster of people they draw volunteers from!

Saturday December 16, 2023: Knights Christmas party at the Shrine of Saint Anthony, 6:30-9pm. Details forthcoming.
