Raymond Signani Lifetime Black Diamond resident Raymond Kenneth Signani died June 27, 2018 at his home. He was born October 4, 1930 to parents Renato and Klara (Aune) Signani. After high school Ray worked at Boeing for a year. Then he enlisted and served 4 years in the United States Air Force, where he was trained as an aircraft mechanic. After his honorable discharge from the military he returned to work at Boeing until his retirement. Ray was a donor to the Museum of Flight. He had a wide range of interests and hobbies, from vintage cars to wine making. He had all kinds of tools and loved to tinker in the garage. Ray was very involved with activities at St. Barbara Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. Ray was a humble man who treated everyone with respect and was liked by all. Ray fought hard the last few years. He will be missed by many, including his brother Lawrence Signani of Enumclaw, nephews Michael Signani of Enumclaw, Scott Signani of Montana, and Kenji Signani of Maple Valley, and niece Dede Signani of Covington. He was preceded by his parents, and brother Leonard Signani. |
