Frank E. Lapapa, 87, of Zion and formerly of Waukegan passed away on Friday, June 29, 2007 at Rolling Hills Manor. He was born August 24, 1919 in Waukegan and remained a lifelong resident. He was a member of St. Dismas Parish and the St. Dismas Men's Club; he was a US Navy Veteran of World War II, member of Catholic Order of Foresters, Knights of Columbus Waukegan Council 731, National Association of Retired Federal Supervisors and a former officer of the Italian American Club. He retired in 1974 as Postal Supervisor at Great Lakes after 35 years service.

Frank is survived by his loving children, Vince Lapapa and Donna (Tim) Levandoski both of Waukegan; his adoring grandchildren, Cindy Levandoski of Waukegan, Kristen Levandoski of Gurnee, Tim (Carin) Levandoski of Chicago, John (Maggie) Levandoski of New Port Beach, CA; great-grandchildren, Alyssa and Bianca Torres who were his pride and joy. Also survived by his dear cousin, Ramon (Amalia) Raspante and special friend, Mike (Fran) Ochoa who never forgot him; he is further survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
