EDWIN C STOYANOFF

 

Stoyanoff, Edwin C. 85, of Waukegan passed away on Monday, January 14, 2013 at his home. He was born April 3, 1927 in Waukegan and remained a lifelong resident. He was a member of St. Anastasia Parish, the Holy Name Society and was a founder of St. Anastasia Bingo. He was a veteran of WWII and the Korean War serving in the US Navy SeaBees. He was also a 3rd degree member of Council 731 of the Knights of Columbus, Waukegan Citizens Police Academy and former member of the Waukegan Elks Lodge. He retired from Outboard Marine Corporation after 43 years in Marine Engineering. Ed is survived by his wife of 58 years, Joan (nee Zoph); children, Christopher (Linda) Stoyanoff of Wadsworth, Clarice (Robert) Chesney of Las Cruces, NM, Marc (Louise) Stoyanoff of Wadsworth and Michael (Pamela) Stoyanoff of Southlake, TX; grandchildren, Richard and Ryan Chesney, Katie, Stephanie, Stephen, Jaclyn, Julie, Jennifer Stoyanoff; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
