Walter "Wally" T Koziol, age 79, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on February 7, 2018. He was born to the late John and Catherine (Bodame) Koziol on March 10, 1938. He married his high school sweetheart, Frances Tomkowicz and celebrated 58 years of marriage. Wally is survived by his children: Richard (Mari) and Bruce (Karen); sister-in-law Sally, sister-in-law/brother-in-law John and Pat Charles; 2 granddaughters, Charleen and Kayleen; 6 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother John. Wally worked at Johnson Motors for 36 years. He loved cooking at the Knights of Columbus where he was a 3rd Degree Member. Later he worked at Lake Forest High School teacher's cafeteria. He was a people person, an avid Cubs fan, liked to travel, loved parties. His greatest joy was his family, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. |
