Alphonso A. "Al" Botti, 79, of Wall, died Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2005. Al was a retired letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service and retired from the Wilmerding post office. He was a World War II Army veteran, a life member of the Wall Volunteer Fire Department and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Son of the late Pasquale "Patsy" and Amelia (Marino) Botti. Husband of the late Irene (Hornak) Botti. Beloved father of Mark (Nancy) Botti. Brother of Anna and the late John and Theresa Botti. Brother-in-law of Nina Botti. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Friends received from 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the ALFIERI FUNERAL HOME INC., 201 Marguerite Ave., Wilmerding, (412) 824-4332, where services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Colman Church.
