Arthur Robert Warapius 81, passed away Friday, October 28, 2011, after a brief illness. Art was born on December 11, 1929, in Chicago, IL, the fifth child of John Joseph and Frances (Golden) Warapius. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Elizabeth "Betty" of Tucson; sons, Glen (Cyndie) of Tracy, CA and Kevin (Ann) of Waco, TX; daughters, Gale (Mario) Martinez of Albuquerque, NM and Karen (Peter) Tamayo of Tucson; eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, as well as his sister, Mary Sherlock (Lee) of Tucson, plus numerous nephews, nieces and friends. He leaves an earthly legacy of a strong and stable family who were lucky to have enjoyed his wit, quiet strength and commitment to God and family throughout his life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Knights of Columbus (Roy Champeau Council No. 8077 at Elizabeth Ann Seton Church) or your favorite charity. Visitation will be Thursday, November 3, 2011, 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. (Rosary at 8:00 p.m.) ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel, 8090 N. Northern Ave. Friday, November 4, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 8650 N. Shannon Road, the Recitation of the Rosary will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by Mass at 10:30 a.m. |
