KRETSCHMER, Albert F., 76, of Marana, AZ, passed away March 11, 2012. Preceded in death by his parents, Albert L. Kretschmer and Florence (nee Schmittling) Kretschmer. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Ann F. Kretschmer (nee Proctor) and his children, Mike (Tammy), Carole, Kathy and Thomas (Karin) Kretschmer, Susan (Rob) Mathiesen and Amy (George) Chase and his grandchildren, Kayla, Karisa and Sarah Kretschmer, Randy and Danielle Mathiesen, Jessie (Bryan) Nguyen-Benitez, Matthew, Joseph and Justin Chase. Al was a veteran of the United States Navy, and had a Bachelors Degree from Arizona State University. Al worked for Honeywell for over 20 years developing many friendships. Al spent many years as an Assistant Scout Master of Boy Scout Troop 127, and helped many scouts through their scouting careers. He volunteered his time and talents to many of his children's activities throughout the years. Al was a member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars, and the Knights of Columbus. The Funeral Mass will be at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton, 8650 North Shannon Road, Tucson, AZ on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. with Father Clement Agamba officiating. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the charity of your choice. Interment will be done at a later date. |
