Raymond W. Hebert NORFOLK - Raymond W. Hebert, 83, passed away March 31, 2008, in Sentara Leigh Hospital. A native of New Bedford, Mass., he retired from the U.S. Navy as a master chief petty officer after 28 years and was a veteran of Word War II, Korea and Vietnam. He was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus Council 367 & Assembly 1162, and was a 50-year member of the Fleet Reserve Association. He is survived by his wife, Regina J. Hebert; a daughter, Rachel Morton; a granddaughter, Dakota Morton, all of Norfolk; as well as several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. A Knights of Columbus Ritual will be held at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, today at 7 p.m. and the family will remain to greet friends until 8 p.m. A graveside service with full military honors will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Deacon Walker King officiating.
