Washington Council mourns the loss or our long-time brother knight Bill Ryan, our Culture of Life Chair. On July 25, 2015, Bill Ryan, 79, died peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in Providence, RI, he was a longtime Washington, DC resident and the former Deputy Director of Communications at the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, where he devoted a career spanning more than 40 years.
