WAYNE E POLDEN

 

In memoriam to Brother Wayne E. Polden, age 77, born February 13, 1939, went home to be with the Lord on July 25, 2016, at the Colfax Rehab Health Care Center.

Wayne was a graduate from Memorial High School in Eau Claire, and Minnesota Bible College in Minneapolis, MN. He was a minister and then served faithfully in the custodial dept. at London Square Mall and later at Holiday Vacations.

He was a very loving, caring, exceptional man of God who gave of himself to help others. He volunteered at the food pantry and in other community related services.

He was generous with all he had and all he did. He was a blessing to those lives he touched. He is preceded in death by mother, Lucille; father, Olai A.; and brother, James Polden Sr.

He is survived by a brother, Steve in Mississippi; sisters-in-law, Pam Carlson and Kathleen Polden of Eau Claire; nephew, James (Barb) Polden Jr.; great-nephews, Andy, Mike, and Nate; great-great nephew, Damien; niece, Jill (Chet) Cooper, great niece, Cienna; great nephew, Shane; nephew, Brian (Brenda); great nieces, Madalen and Morgan; niece, Debra (Bill) Morris; niece, Theresa; great nephews, Jacob and Jeromie Goettl; and nephew, Daniel Polden.

Wayne has a lot of friends and family who will miss his quick wit and unique sense of humor.

He was a benefactor to all God’s creatures, loved the outdoors, reading books, and a really good cigar.

Memorial Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 30, 2016, Landmark Christian Church in Lake Hallie, WI.
