My Brother Knights,
In great sadness I write that a Brother of our Council has passed away. Brother Knight Carl Beyer died on Sunday at the family home.
A rosary will begin at 10am Friday at Albany St. Mary's Catholic Church, with a memorial mass to follow at 11am. Private interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Mt. Angel at a later date. Contributions may be made to Mt Angel Abbey in memory of Carl.

On behalf of our Council, I have drafted a letter of condolence that I will print and send to the family today (copy attached to this email). Below is a short prayer for us to ask for healing.
Carl was a Knight of Columbus with 68 years of continuous service. Many of you know Carl’s Son in Law, Matt Gamblin, a former member of our Parish and Council who now resides in Washington.
