Jacob "Jack" Sleddens, age 73, of North Chicago, Illinois died Saturday, September 13, 1997 at the Sunset Terrace in Waukegan, Illinois. He was born January 16, 1924 in Nebraska.
He was a former member of Holy Rosary Church, now Queen of Peace.
He was a member of P.L.A.V., North Chicago Lions Club, Waukegan Knights of Columbus Council #731, and the North Chicago Tavern Owners Association.
Jack owned and operated Jack's Liquor of North Chicago for 25 years.
He served in the U.S. Navy and retired after 22 years of service. |
