HENRY FRANCIS HORVATH

 


Henry Horvath, 92, of Albany passed away Tuesday at his home.


The son of George and Meri (Cshok) Horvath, he was born in Duquesne, Pennsylvania. He was married to Betty Massung for 60 years and she was the love of his life.

He was a member of St. Mary’s, Good Sam Club, Beaver State Coin Shooters, GPAA/LDMA, Knights of Columbus and the American Legion. Henry retired from Teledyne Wah Chang. He loved to metal detect and prospect for gold.

Henry is survived by his son, James; daughter Mary Summers; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He will be missed by family and his friends at Quail Run.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Joseph, William, George and Julius; and sisters Helen and Irene.

A 10:15 a.m. recitation of the rosary and 11 a.m. Mass will be on Tuesday, March 15, at St. Mary’s.
