DR. DANIEL J MANCINI

 


Dr. Daniel J. Mancini, longtime Mt. Holly resident passed away Thursday, Aug. 15, 2013 at Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Browns Mills. He was 60.

Born in Pittstown, Pa., Daniel was a dedicated chiropractor, active church and community member, and all around caring person who loved Christmas and playing Santa for the disabled children of the community.

A 1970 graduate of Rancocas Valley High School and member of the reunion committee, graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic and Mount Saint Mary's University, he was a longtime active member and head usher at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Mt. Holly. Daniel was very dedicated to his church community as the annual bus coordinator for the March for Life and as a member of the Santa Maria Council 1179 of the Knights of Columbus, having served as Past Grand Knight, Past Faithful Navigator, Past President of the Burlington County Chapter, and member of the 4th Degree Assembly, John Tatham Chapter.

Professionally, Dr. Mancini was just as active, having served on the Board of Directors for the South Jersey Chiropractic Society and facilitated much of the continuing education for his colleagues in the area.

Son of the late Stefana and Daniel Mancini; brother of the late Angelo Mancini, he is survived by his aunt and uncle, Joseph and Mary Politare of Quakertown, Pa.; many loving cousins; and his longtime companion, Donna Guyre.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 a.m., Tuesday at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, 260 High St., Mt. Holly. Interment will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends and relatives may visit with the family Monday at the church from 5 to 9 p.m.
